RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST
 
Job Description:
 
The Recruitment Specialist handles the end-to-end recruitment process both for internal and external hiring.
Responsible for managing the full-lifecycle recruitment process from requisition up to the onboarding of new employees.
Monitors the candidate journey, from screening and interviewing to providing feedback and negotiating offers of employment.
Improves and implements the current recruitment process, recommending best practices and striving to deliver a good candidate experience.
Tracks recruitment metrics including turn-around time, cost per hire, quality of hire, and effectiveness of sourcing channels.
Maintains good working relationships with the hiring leaders, employees and candidates.
Utilizes different sourcing channels and methods, including Jobstreet, Indeed, LinkedIn, and social media.
Partners with the local agencies, government employment services, and professional organizations to attract potential candidates.
Conducts initial interviews assesses candidates' organizational and job fitness based on the competencies identified by the hiring leaders.
Screens candidates by administering pre-employment examinations both cognitive and behavioral.
Facilitates online assessment administration (competency, personality, behavioral) to the 3rd party assessment center.
Endorses shortlisted candidates for technical, skills, competency-based interviews to the hiring manager. Maintains a database of potential candidates for future job vacancies.
Before deploying the candidates, conduct background checks, performance, and character reference checks when necessary.
Issues job offers and pre-employment requirements checklist to successful applicants. Maintains communication with the candidates throughout the hiring process.
Reviews completeness of pre-employment requirements.
Conducts orientation and manages the onboarding program. Designs, distributes, and measures the results of candidate experience surveys.
Monitors performance appraisals of probationary employees.
Performs other related functions as directed by the immediate head or management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in any course preferably in behavioral sciences such as Psychology and Human Resources Management
Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience as a Sourcing Specialist or working in the Recruitment field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hands-on experience in databases and ability to use recruitment tools.
Proficient Knowledge using MS Tools
