JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties & Tasks Performed:
Over-all in-charge in the monitoring and supervision of all trucking activities.
Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations.
Analyse expenditures and other financial information in order to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services.
Ensure that trip details per unit is properly and completely filled up by the driver and see to it that trip documents are submitted and encoded within 24 hours after it is submitted to office
Provide administrative and technical assistance to the staff in need of one.
Provides timely incident report and CAR report for all deviations in the trucking operations such as but not limited to low utilization, breakdown and shutdown, traffic violations, non-conformance in the trucking policies and guidelines, accidents and other company infractions. Sees to it that CAR is timely implemented and provides update to management.Ensure that employee discipline is maintained by consistently implementing the company policies. Investigates and makes formal incident report with corresponding recommendation (NTE and NOR) for possible employee violations.
In-charge of the Drivers Development and Rewards and Consequence Management Programs of the operations
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree Graduate. With at least 5 years of related working experience in the trucking operations.
With excellent leadership skill.
