Job Description
Operating and managing the pastry section of the hotel
Creates an assortment of desserts, including pastries, cookies, and other confections
Creating pastries, baked goods and confections in accordance with the set recipes of the hotel
Creating new recipes for seasonal menus
Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure attractive and tasteful presentation
Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients, ordering new supplies and equipment when necessary
Ensuring the pastry section's adherence to the safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Female applicants are preferred for this role.
Preferably with hotel experience
Experienced candidates with vocational course or training certificate in pasty arts and baking programs in a culinary institution are welcome to apply.
Experience in creating international pasty menus
Creative, with artistic skill, in crafting and decorating delectable desserts and confectioneries, designing seasonal menus and developing new recipes.
Ability to come up with recipe ideas from scratch
With knowledge on the latest pastry arts and ingredients
Good sense of planning and preparation for the day ahead
Capable of working in a fast paced environment
