Job Description
Reviewing technical plans drawn by architects and engineers
Installing and fixing together steel girders, pipework and beam sections to make a steel framework
Lifting and guiding components into position with tower cranes
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
Should have TESDA NCII Certificate or Trade Test Certificate in Structural Erection.
Possession of a certificate for work at heights and the use of lifting equipment is considered as an additional qualification.
Must have a strong background in steel erection & assembly in construction.
Must be competent in using a variety of tools and heavy machinery.
Must be competent in measuring, cutting & fabrication of steel components.
Must be competent in handling & working on different steel frames and girders to construct steel structures.
Must be competent in unloading, stacking and lifting into place prefabricated steel.
Must be competent in moving steel components into place using cranes, cabling, forklifts or other equipment.
