Job Description
• Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems. Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
• Acts as the prime guardian for company's relationship with external contractors in conjunction with the General Manager. This includes the interfacing with relevant government and regulatory authorities.
• Participates as required in the development of external tenders and contracts in conjunction with the General Manager.
• Provide overall management and administration of the project. Ensure effective management and administration of the contract to optimise outcomes for the company.
• Coordinate the commencement of projects, including the Management Plans, establishment of site facilities, provision of budget and costing formats and establishment of project record systems in conjunction with other senior project stakeholders.
• Determine in conjunction with the construction team the requirements for plant, equipment and labour and ensure that efficient utilisation of the resources in undertaken with the Projects.
• In conjunction with the Site Project team and the Safety Manager that all Safety Health and Environmental obligations are met within the site requirements and in accordance relevant legislation
• Ensure that the most cost-effective outcomes with regards to materials, subcontractors, construction planning and implementation are achieved
• Administer the contract and sub-contracts in relation to any extensions of time, project variations, progress claims, invoicing, monthly reporting, performance indicators and company objectives are met.
• Facilitate the implementation of company's policies, practices and procedures in conjunction with Senior Management in areas covering: (Safety, Health, and Environment) (Industrial Relations) (QA/QC) ( Plant and Machinery)
• Assist the estimators and schedulers with the construction process, production capabilities and planning for current and future contracts.
• Ensure all work is performed to meet the safety, environmental and legislative requirements and responsibilities of the company, together with the adherence of all company's Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Civil) or similar fields.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management with 10 years of related experience, as well as experience in a leadership and management.
• Previous experience in working in a multi-cultural environment is considered important but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in preparing and managing the contract management process.
• Good Working Knowledge in Microsoft Office including MS Project applications
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interface with colleagues at all levels.
• Must be able to deal with short time frames and handle multiple competing priorities.
• Previous experience in working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Must possess leadership skills.
• Must have a methodical and well organised approach to the work environment.
