L98 Brokerage & Logistics, Inc. is a specialized customs brokerage and logistics service provider. This was incorporated on February 8, 2012 with 5 employees only. After 10 years of operations, our manpower complement has grown to 150 employees with expertise in the field of documentation & logistics. We are continuously expanding and has developed multiple businesses in the field of logistics.
 
Our main office is located in Zone 5J Bridges Townsquare, Plaridel St. Alang-Alang, Mandaue City which is a very strategic in location, we are 5 mins from the airport and 10 mins from the seaport. And we have a satellite office inside PEZA zone with several staff assigned to have easier access to customers inside PEZA. Another satellite office located in Special Economic zone westside of Cebu. With these satellite offices, it could also hasten transactions with PEZA and Customs offices.
 
Our Services include Forwarding, Brokerage, Warehousing and Customized Operations.
 
We are hiring for an HR MANAGER
 
Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resources or any related field
Proven working experience as HR Manager
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities
Strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Must be self-motivated with the initiative to take on a variety of tasks
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and other similar tools
Responsibilities:
Supports current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Develops and monitors overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedure across the organization
Bridges the management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
Nurtures a positive working environment
Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Manages the recruitment and selection process. Leads and manages the full life cycle of the recruitment and selection process from new hire requisition to onboarding and orientation.
Oversees and manages performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Maintains pay plan and benefits program and ensures that salary structure is discussed and approved by the CEO.
Assesses training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Reports to top management and provides decision support through HR metrics
Ensures legal compliance i.e., local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Oversees employee disciplinary meetings and investigations.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
Provides leadership, direction and coordination of operational activities within the team, including driving change and optimize service delivery.
Ensures that there is a process back-up in place for every critical operation.
Performs performance review or evaluation of direct reports annually or as deem required.
Manages approvals of leave requests of staffs.
Handles preliminary interview for departmental hiring and recommends potential candidate
Manages team proactively to deliver the operational targets.
Works effectively with clients and stakeholders to maximize opportunities, and achieve operations targets.
Conducts personnel development like coaching and mentoring and provides necessary disciplinary action to all direct reports.
Assists with project assignments in the department.
Supports special program/operations planning and implementation.
Escalates proactively developing issues in the operations to the immediate superior.
Provides suggestions to his/her immediate superior regarding any issues/concerns in the practice of his/her function to continuously improve the quality of service in the department.
Performs other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by immediate head.
