Description
l. Position Objective:
Provides direct operational supervision regarding the safety of the resort including its guests and employees.
ll. Key Result Areas/Job Responsibilities:
A. Physical Security Operation Functions:
1.Assist the Safety Supervisor on the implementation of safety standards inside the resort.
2.Conduct Safety Inspection and Investigation within the resort.
3.Identify unsafe condition that may bring accident inside the resort and recommend proper action.
4.Check and monitor all portable fight fighting equipment in the resort. Request replacement and/or refilling of expired fire extingguisher.
5.Conduct information dissemmination regarding safety to Fonatna Leisure Parks employees.
6.To represent the department on the Occupational Health and Safety Committee of the resort.
7.Should be responsible on the business recovery program in case of calamity.
B. Physical Security Development Functions:
1.Assists in the operation of the Security and Safety Department when the need arises.
2.Recommends applicable training and seminars to maintain, develop and improve work performance of the Security and Safety Department.
3.Schedule the regular meetting of the Resort Emergency Response Committee.
4.Perform other related duties and responsibilities when directed by superiors.
5.Coordinate with the Resort Nurse from time to time.
C. Subordinate Performance
1.Acts as intermediary in resolving problems arising from any controversies between Security and Safety personnel.
2.Ensures that members of the security and safety personnel are in compliance with the current company policy and procedures and implementing rules of the Bureau of Working Condition of the Department of Labor and Employment.
lll. Principal Relationships:
1.Internal - Human Resource Department and Resort Nurse, Colleagues
2. External - CDC, BWC-DOLE, Guests
lV. Supplementary information (Requirements)
1.Education
Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university with five (5) years experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be a lisenced Security Officer and Safety Officer.
2. Experience
2.1 Must have at least three (3) years experience in industrial safety.
3. Personality
3.1 Professional and Courteous.
3.2 Well organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
3.3 Is a team player.
3.4 Service oriented.
4. Skills
4.1Good written and oral English communication skills.
4.2Excellent PC Skills (MSOffice, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher)
4.3 Driving motorcycle and four wheeled vehicle
