RETAIL STAFF
 
BASIC JOB PURPOSE:
 
Responsible for providing excellent customer service and meeting sales target.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deal with customers, answering queries and selling with no complaint and delay.
Welcome customers by greeting and offering assistance.
Direct customers by escorting to racks and counters; suggesting the most suitable products for their needs.
Ensure items are attractively displayed.
Compute sales price, total purchases and process cash or credit payment.
Operates cash register and provides accurate change to cash-paying customers.
Ensure availability of stocks, performs monthly inventory and timely replenishment of stocks.
Ensure accuracy and correctness of invoice and remitted documents.
Suggest ways to improve sales.
Monitor sales contribution and growth and prepare daily and monthly sales report and analysis.
Participate actively to improvement activities such as Small Group Activities (SGA), Quality Control Circles (QCC), Kaizen and 7'S.
Perform other task that maybe assigned to from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledgeable in SAP RPS, merchandising and inventory
Excellent communication and people skills
College graduate of any business related course
With at least 1 yr. experience in household, furniture and appliances store
Experience in Sales, and Customer Service
Customer Oriented and has the ability to adapt/ respond to different types of customers
Preferably living near the assigned area
Willing to work during weekend and holidays
