About the Job
 
As a Project-based Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our real estate development projects are executed with precision. Your responsibilities will include conducting site surveys, preparing survey data, and assisting in the planning and design of construction activities.
 
This position currently reports to the AVP Project Management Operations and will require you to work closely with the project management and construction teams to ensure the accuracy of measurements and land evaluations. You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the successful completion of our high-profile projects in Cebu City and beyond.
 
Working Conditions:
The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods while conducting surveys and using survey equipment.
Requires clear vision, with or without corrective lenses, for precise measurements and data collection.
The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, wind, and other challenging environmental factors.
Exposure to construction site elements such as hot materials, fuel, fumes, dust, grease, oils, and loud noise may occur.
Interaction with heavy machinery, equipment, and construction vehicles is likely during site surveys.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geodetic Engineering, or any related field.
Professional experience of 3-10 years in actual surveying.
Good knowledge of surveying tools and technologies, such as total stations, GPS, and digital levels.
Strong attention to detail and precision in data collection.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to project guidelines.
Basic Responsibilities:
Perform land surveys on construction sites to gather accurate data for project planning. This includes measuring land boundaries, identifying elevation points, and assessing the topography.
Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, including maps and diagrams, to present findings to the project management team and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the survey data aligns with project designs and plans.
Guarantee that all measurements and data are precise, ensuring that the construction work can be conducted safely and according to plan.
Regularly inspect and maintain survey equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition. Report any issues or necessary repairs to supervisors.
Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and external contractors to ensure that survey data is effectively utilized and the project progresses smoothly.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while conducting surveys on-site. Report any safety concerns to the appropriate authorities immediately.
