To successfully advance in this challenging business environment, we are looking for a Logistics Officer to support and enhance our operations. This role will be crucial in optimizing our supply chain, boosting efficiency, and ensuring smooth coordination across all logistics functions.
 
Job description
Coordinate all export-related activities to ensure smooth and in-time delivery of our high-quality products and samples to clients worldwide.
Coordinate all import-related activities to ensure cost efficient and in-time delivery of our natural and supporting materials.
Process and monitor PEZA farm-in / farm-out between our factories.
Coordinate with clients, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and your logistics counterpart in our Swiss office to ensure all logistics related activities and documentation is prepared, ready and correct at the time of shipment.
Coordinate with local authorities (PEZA, BOC, BFAR, BPI, BAI, DENR, PDEA) for in-time import and export clearances and ensure compliance to all regulations.
Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines both local and international to provide the best available shipment conditions (costs, timing, reliability) and monitor their performance.
Prepare logistics reports to ensure logistics costs are properly accounted for and invoices are submitted on time.
Take ownership of logistics issues and follow through until resolved.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure all import and export documentation is accurate and meets the requirements of the authorities.
Provide routing information and shipping instructions to ensure deliveries arrive on time and at the correct location. Track shipments and proof of delivery.
Provide support during the analysis of material price and logistics variances.
Oversee all logistics (import/export) activities.
Provide support to all departments for logistics requirements.
Maintain relationships with our existing external providers.
Analyze logistics provider performance to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor graduate in supply chain management, engineering science or related discipline.
Minimum three years' work experience in export/import logistics.
Experience working in PEZA Ecozone is an advantage.
Mindset for urgency, priorities, and providing adequate information to all stakeholders involved.
Persistency to put company and client interests first.
Strong team player with very good knowledge of English, MS Excel and Word skills.
Experience in dealing with local authorities.
Knowledge of working in an ISO 9001 regulated environment, additional experience in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is beneficial.
