JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Overall Description:
This role is for an ambitious mid to senior designer and creative who lives and breathes brand. Our creatives work closely with digital strategists, creative directors, to translate brand strategies into work that is meaningful, inspiring and compelling.
As the company Digital Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for design and creative layouts for all visuals for eCommerce, EDMs, Catalogue mud maps and curating GIF’s.
The successful applicant must:
Layout and design of advertising and promotional content across a range of products and services
Must be able to understand, comprehend business requirements and written briefs
Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations and website.
Developing and presenting creative and graphic ideas for EDM’s and digital advertisements
Assisting with developing and creating social posts
Retouching all photography eg: product photography, photoshop as per brief
Managing the EDM database and developing EDM concepts (will be trained with our software)
Ensuring your creative ideas are up to date with all the latest technologies
Updating the website on a regular basis with new and fresh content
Skills & Responsibilities:
Minimum 5 years working in a digital / graphic design role involving both digital and print
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong technical knowledge and skills within Adobe Creative Suite (print and digital) and Indesign
Excellent skills in the use of Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and HTML
Exceptional attention to detail, producing work to a high standard
Exceptional creativity and innovation
Excellent time management and organization skills
A strong understanding of the latest Australian trends and their role within a commercial environment
You will also need:
To be a team player and always happy to help out
Be passionate, have a very good attention to detail and take great pride in your work
Have a diploma or degree
Have the ability to juggle priorities
