HR SPECIALIST
 
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
 
The Human Resource Specialist provide administrative support to the HR Programs and are responsible for confidential and highly complex duties. Participates in the design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of HR processes, procedures and systems and other admin work.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible in updating employees' 201 file/personnel records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status, etc.
Continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process.
Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions.
Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly.
Process employee's/guest's queries and respond in a timely manner.
Plan quarterly/ annual performance review sessions.
Assist the HR Director in cultivating training and development plans/programs.
Stay up to date and comply with changes in labor legislation.
Ability to help develop, implement, support and review all Human Resources Department initiatives, policies, procedures and systems
Communicates with employees, departments, administrators, applicants for the purpose of providing information and assistance concerning employment, procedures, personnel records and related legal requirements.
Assists in the collection, preparation and review of data for reports, proposals and other formal written communications; ensures that all reports and correspondence achieve a high level of quality
Handles timekeeping & payroll for VSSU personnel.
Maintains central personnel filing system, including salary changes, anniversary dates, vacation/sick leave, credentials and etc.
Attends and participate in staff meeting and company activities specially HR initiated activities
Attends seminars, training, workshops, conferences, and classes to increase professional knowledge
Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Establishes, maintains and fosters positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Perform other relevant duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/Minimum Qualifications:
 
Education/Training:
Must be a college graduate of Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Admin or any related field is required
Qualifications:
Must have experience in HR & Admin work
Must have good interpersonal relationship skills specially to superiors
Must have good oral and written communication skills, both in English and Filipino.
Must be keen to details and accuracy.
