HR / COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS SPECIALIST
 
JOB OVERVIEW:
 
As an HR/Compensation and Benefits Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient daily operations and delivery of employee services in the areas of Compensation, Payroll, Salary Planning and Structure Reviews, and Benefits Administration, as well as other Human Resources Tasks.
 
You will play a crucial role in computing employee salaries, including bonuses, allowances, loans, taxes, and government-mandated benefits.
 
Additionally, you will maintain essential liaisons with government agencies to handle various personnel services, such as BIR, SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth benefits, and payroll matters.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compute employee salaries, including bonuses, allowances, loans, taxes, and government-mandated benefits, to ensure accurate and timely compensation.
Maintain ongoing communication with government agencies to stay compliant with regulations and requirements.
Monitor submission deadlines to government agencies to prevent penalties for late filings.
Assist the Accounting department in computing non-recurring payments to employees, such as bonuses, 13th-month pay, separation pay, and final pay.
Respond to employee inquiries about their payroll computations and general benefits, resolving concerns efficiently.
Regularly review and validate employee data, particularly identification numbers and loan balances, to ensure accurate payroll and statutory computations, reporting, and remittance.
Ensures that each regular employee and dependents (when applicable) are provided with their corresponding benefit.
Resolves conflicts with HMO providers for the purpose of validating enrollment eligibility and processing claims.
Establishes and maintains relationships with HMO providers in order to stay up to date on policies and offer employees the best possible options.
Provide backup support to other team members and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned to assist the department and the company.
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) and 201 files, also maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates should possess Human Resource Management, Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent degree and/or work experience.
1-3 years work experience in administering Compensation and Benefits focused on Government Mandated Benefits and HMO/HR Experience.
Proficient in Google Suites, MS Excel, Trello and Quickbooks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and can work with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage, build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
