Job Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed project plans and schedules to ensure the timely completion of engineering projects.
Prepare requisitions for project materials based on design specifications and ensure their timely procurement.
Recommend equipment design modifications to improve production efficiency and operational reliability.
Provide technical drawings or assist the draftsman in completing technical drawings to meet project requirements
Assist in formulating project proposals, including cost estimates and bills of quantities.
Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress updates to the immediate head/supervisor.
Prepare and manage the schedule of utilities personnel.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for utilities equipment to minimize downtime.
Prepare requisitions for materials and spare parts required for utilities operations and maintenance.
Provide technical drawings for utilities maintenance.
Job Specifications:
1. Bachlor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Fresh graduate, newly licensed, or with 2-4 years of experience in engineering planning, designing, or related fields.
Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
 
Skills
Proficient in basic computer software, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and powerpoints.
Strong planning and time management skills- ability to handle more than one project at a time
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in mechanical engineering design using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge or similar.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
Attention to detail.
Excellent mathematical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Proficient in using mechanical hand tools
Analytical skills to evaluate and improve system performance and design.
