Job Description
Develop and program CNC codes using specialized software.
Set up and configure CNC machines according to job requirements.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling setups for each machining operation.
Operate CNC machines to execute machining tasks accurately and efficiently.
Monitor the machining process, make adjustments as needed, and perform quality checks.
Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or operational issues that arise.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.
Maintain clean and safe working conditions in the CNC area.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in CNC programming and machining technologies.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Additional Information:
Must have experience in Steel Fabrication industry
Knowledge of Sigma nest software preferable, must have strong attention to detail, Familiarity and Skill with Interpreting Technical Drawings and Blueprints, Skilled at Troubleshooting
Experience in CNC programming and operation, preferably in a steel fabrication environment.
Proficiency in CNC programming languages (such as G-code) and use of specialized software (such as CAD/CAM).
Strong knowledge of machining operations and cutting tools used in steel fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Familiarity with CNC machine setup and tooling selection.
