Job Description
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment, Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.), Cook food in various utensils or grillers
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served, Ensure all food and other items are stored properly, Check quality of ingredients, and monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
Cleans and maintains station while practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, chillers, and all storage areas
Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment within station, Operating a combination oven with skill (training will be provided for this)
Be able to communicate effectively with the floor staff • Performs any additional responsibilities, as directed by Management
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Additional Information:
Must be familiar with western cuisine and cooking methods for popular western dishes (pizza, pasta, steaks, roast meats etc.)
Proven experience as cook
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
