Established in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines in 1983, Mactan Rock Industries Inc. started as an industrial chemical manufacturer specializing in water treatment chemicals and industrial preventive maintenance chemicals. As the company grew, it began trading in water softeners, demineralizers and ion exchange resins. In just over five (5) years, it metamorphosed from its modest beginnings to a complete water and wastewater treatment company.
 
Through its Human Resources Department (HRD) hereby informs everyone that we are currently looking for successful applicants to fill up the following positions enumerated below along with the qualifications:
 
AUDIT MANAGER
 
QUALIFICATIONS :
 
· Results-Oriented / Detail- Oriented / Systems-Thinker
· Has an eye for continues Improvement Opportunities
· Industrial Engineer/Accounting Graduate
· Preferably has working knowledge of Accounting Concepts , Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts
· Able to see the whole business system and appreciate the interplay of each department.
· Patient, honest , trustworthy, Continuos Learner
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
· Creates the Audit Program which will form the basis of the Internal Audit Department's activities for the year.
· Plans the audit of the company's compliance to the following standards: Quality Management System (ISO-QMS),EMS,5s/Safety - and subscription to other industry best practices and standards.
· Prepares the department's annual budget and objectives, targets and programs for presentation during the corporate  conference.
· Assists subordinates on carrying put their work.
· Evaluates subordinate's performance vis-a-vis attainment of the department's objectives , targets and programs.
· Keeps the department's expenses within budget.
· Attends and Participates actively in all managements meeting such as MANCOM and Performance reviews.
· Provide inputs for management review meetings.
· Leads the department's participation in company sponsored activities, e.g. Annual Conference , Mid - year Conference, Quarterly family and Recognition day,etc.
· Suppots the implementation of management systems and procedures in the department , e.g. quality,environment,health and safety.
· Should practice high quality standard in performance of specific task geared towards customer satisfaction.
· Releases updates of Audit work to MANCOM and B.O.D (Board of Directors).
· Should be receptive to product improvement and does all necessary corrective measures in the overall performance of duties and responsibilities.
· Attends to other functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior and by the Board of Directors from time to time.
