ASSISTANT MERCHANDISING MANAGER
 
Job Description:
 
Education: Any 4-year business degree
 
Experience: At least 1 year relevant experience in Branding or Marketing, preferably in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
 
Others: Work Schedule - Mondays-Fridays (Compressed Work Week)
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
Primarily responsible for overseeing all third-party merchandising agencies including but not limited to deployment of third-party personnel to various stores. He/She checks billings, reviews merchandising deployment and store coverage, supervises the execution of merchandising and marketing directions, manages/assesses the third party merchandising agency's performance, and other merchandising related responsibilities.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors day to day deployment of the third party merchandising agencies
Addresses concerns related to merchandising that may arise
Prepares any and all merchandising related reports as needed
Supervises and coordinates the third party merchandising agencies personnels
Ensures cascading of weekly merchandising reports to the Trade Marketing and/or Sales departments
Ensures weekly coordination of third party merchandising agency personnel (coordinators) with the Trade Marketing and Sales team
Reviews merchandising deployment and attendance rates
Checks and processess merchandising billings for payment
Reviews merchandising expenses to ensure cost is within budget
Processess the performance assessment and renewal or changing of the third party merchandising agencies
Organizes and supervises changing of third party merchandising agency
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time for the achievement of departmental goals
