SOUS CHEF
 
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Corporate Chef, he/she shall be responsible in overseeing the Kitchen Staff, handling their schedules, training, addressing conflict, and evaluating their performance.
He/She ensures that food quality and operations of Catering and Commissary are up to standards.
He/she will help with menu planning, testing, execution, inventory, and managing of supplies.
He/she may also aid in making sure the kitchen is up to safety standards, and that staff are obeying sanitation rules.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the same position or in a similar leadership role.
Culinary degree and certifications are not required, but is an advantage.
Must have a strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients and flavors, food safety, monitoring procedures, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
Must be goal-driven, have strong leadership skills, is decisive, have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, has great time management, willing to work long hours and shifting schedules.
SALARY: will depend on qualifications and experience
