Open for students of Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or any related course
This Internship Program aims to provide an opportunity for the student to be guided in learning outside the confines of the classroom.
At the end of the internship program, the students are expected to:
a. use the knowledge, skills, and abilities gained from their core and major courses in a work setting.
b. foster positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
c. reflect on their personal career and self-development goals.
Tasks: (Selected students will be assigned to one of the four teams - Data Analysis, Service Management, Service Support, and Service Delivery)
DATA ANALYSIS
Data Analysis and Data Management
Identifying patterns and trends, improving data quality and accuracy, and generating insights and recommendations -Data collection, data cleansing, data analysis, data visualization, and report generation
Strategic
Optimize the operationalprocess -analyzing the current process, providing recommendations, and monitoring results
SERVICE MANAGEMENT
IT Service Management
Understanding ITSM and Service Life Cycle - hands-on training and examination
Report Presentation
Understanding better Technical Report creation via PowerPoint and public presentation -hands-on training in public speaking and creation of Service Report
SERVICE SUPPORT
Network Troubleshooting
Identify, diagnose, and solve customer-reported issues - Attend on Level 1 issues and provide support to field engineers on circuit status verification post-restoration, proactive monitoring
Customer Support
Improve people handling/engagement skills and develop effective professional communication skills - assist in customer callouts for pending tickets
SERVICE DELIVERY
Network Asset Management
To demonstrate knowledge and organization skills -clean, migrate/create, and improve an active
database.
Network Operations Administrative Work
To conduct acceptable work practice as defined by the policies of the department within the host Company -create and manage checklist completion.
Internal Project
To create a course-related project - create and provide/improve a system or technology that will
be helpful/beneficial to the BAU/Team. (i.e. Network Web tool and Network provisioning dashboard.
Network Infrastructure
To learn the functions of network equipment, software applications, and network services - observe and assist with applicable network tasks. (i.e. Circuit provisioning and LCP App Testing)
