SCHOOLING ADMIN AND FINANCE
 
Job Summary
 
The Schooling Program Admin- Finance will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective financial management of our schooling programs. This position will involve maintaining accurate records, overseeing budget allocation, and providing timely updates to the UK.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Financial Management:
Maintain accurate records of school supplies, uniforms, college allowances, and rice distribution.
Oversee the purchase and distribution of school supplies, uniforms, and rice.
Prepare goods for distribution and ensure timely delivery.
Manage the budget for the feeding program, including distribution and receipt collection.
Monitor and follow up on petty cash and other budget allocations.
Receive and track schooling budgets from finance, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Teams up with our Teacher Lead to pay tuition online for scholars.
Submit timely liquidations and reports.
Administrative Support:
Take minutes of meetings for the schooling team.
Coordinate letter writing and maintain records.
Receive and record letters and gifts from sponsors.
Attend training and seminars as needed.
Communications and Updates:
Contribute to social media updates as needed including photo updates.
Maintain an annual calendar of events.
Update the online tracker with weekly budget receipts and releases.
Release college scholar allowances.
Report any suspicious or questionable receipts or liquidations immediately.
Provides a monthly report to the team and line managers detailing expenditures and savings.
Job Specifications
 
Education:
Any bachelor's degree holder
No. of years of relevant work experience:
At least 1 year of meaningful work experience in the finance department
