SALES MANAGER
 
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager performs his/her duties within the framework defined by the chain and hotel norms and by internal regulations as specified by the Sales Manager/ Director of Sales and Marketing.
As part of the hotel management, this position is responsible for energizing team spirit and motivation in all staff. He/ She are expected to maintain the highest standard of guest service and satisfaction. He/ She must also be fair and just in any staff disciplinary action required. He/ She is also expected to be a "hands-on" Manager/ Supervisor. By this, we expect that he/ she is prepared to lend "hands-on" assistance if a hotel area/department becomes very busy. It must be emphasized that this "hands-on" assistance must be approached with the "hotel as a whole" in mind, and must not be detrimental to the efficient operations of other areas.
Having a positive attitude towards work; be self-disciplined and self-motivated. Set a good working example for all department employees.
Responsible for the daily organization of the section.
Contribute to overall operational efficiency by performing relevant duties as assigned.
Use your supervision skills effectively to encourage and motivate staff.
Determines work schedules of the Department/ Section's personnel; records attendance and accomplishments of personnel; endorses unfinished duties to incoming shift in appropriate logbooks.
Qualifications:
Degree in any Business/ Marketing related course.
Has a solid working experience in an Hotel/ Resort Sales Management.
Keen to details and has excellent problem solving skills.
Can work with less supervision.
Willing to work on a Monday- Friday and half-day in Saturday schedule.
Work assignment at Makati City, Manila
