Description
-At least college degree graduate preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
-Pollution Control Accreditation from DENR and Health and Safety Certificate from Department of Labor. Basic First Aid Certification is an advantage.
-At least 2 years of experience in the same job level capacity, preferably in Mining, Aggregate or Cement Industry.
-Understands and capable of implementing pollution control, health and safety rules and regulations.
-Business/Technical Writing
-First Aid Skills
Job Responsibilities:
1. Inspects materials, equipment and personnel to ensure safety measures are in place and implemented. Practice First Aid and Rescue.
2. Implements and monitors use of Personnel Protective Equipment, inspects quality and recommends issuance.
3. Conducts regular meeting to remind personnel of Health and Safety protocols of the company.
4. Reports safety man hours, incident reports and corrective actions taken.
5. Coordinates with local agencies regarding updates of regulation for health and safety practice.
6. Analyze working environment and condition and ensure compliance to standard safety practices.
7. Participates in work related trainings and seminars and cascades information to entire workforce.
8. Prepares and present reports to management, recommends plans and programs for the improvement of welfare of employee through health and safety practices.
