Job Description
Transportation Services: Safely and efficiently transport the employer and/or their family members to various destinations, including work, school, appointments, events, and recreational activities.
Plan routes, navigate traffic, and adapt to changing road conditions to ensure timely arrival.
Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of the employer's vehicle, including regular cleaning, fueling, and maintenance checks. Monitor vehicle condition and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of passengers during transportation, including obeying traffic laws, following safe driving practices, and adhering to speed limits.
Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in all interactions with the employer and their family members. Uphold a courteous and respectful demeanor, provide assistance as needed, and maintain a positive & friendly
Flexibility: Adapt to the employers schedule and transportation needs, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime.
Be willing to accommodate changes in itinerary, last-minute requests, and unexpected delays or detours.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the employer regarding transportation schedules, itinerary changes, and any concerns or issues that may arise during transportation.
Provide updates on arrival times and route deviations as needed.
Errands and Assistance: Provide assistance with errands, such as grocery shopping, banking, and other tasks as requested by the employer. Offer support and assistance with loading and unloading packages or belongings as needed.
Vehicle Security: Ensure the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times, including locking doors, activating security systems, and safeguarding valuables. Take precautions to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access to the vehicle.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Female applicants are preferred for this role.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a professional driver or personal chauffeur is preferred.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and routes. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mapping apps.
Responsible and reliable, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize safety and maintain composure in stressful or challenging driving situations.
Professional appearance and demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact courteously and respectfully with employers and passengers.
Flexibility to work irregular hours and accommodate changing schedules. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight trips as required.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and maintaining privacy for the employer and their family.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform driving duties, including sitting for extended periods and loading/unloading luggage or packages.
Legal eligibility to work in the country of employment.
