Job Title: Operations Manager for Furniture Manufacturing
 
Job Location: Mandaue City, North Reclamation Area
 
Job Summary:
 
The Operations Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Production Facility and Office Administration. They will ensure that everything runs smoothly, and maximize processes and procedures while meeting the business objectives and goals, as well as the customer expectations efficiently and effectively. They include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance. They should be ready to mentor their team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. They report directly to the CEO.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the furniture department, ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
Manage the procurement processes, including sourcing furniture suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring pricing competitiveness.
Maintain an accurate inventory of furniture items, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with the sales team to meet customer demands.
Oversee the logistics and delivery process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of furniture to customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate product information and resolve customer inquiries or issues promptly.
Monitor and analyze sales data, industry trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Manage a team of furniture production/department staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive work environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Warehouse, HR, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless operations and optimize business performance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
Previous experience in a furniture operations management role is highly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the furniture industry, including suppliers, materials, trends, and pricing strategies.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
Outstanding people management skills, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach.
Strong leadership skills and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Strong business acumen, with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Tech savvy. Eager to learn new systems and applications specific to CMW's needs.
Qualifications, Certifications and Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, and or related field.
Knowledge in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
BOSH/OSH Certified.
NC II for Furniture Making.
