MINISTRY AND WELLNESS COORDINATOR
 
Salary Range: 18,000-25,000 based on qualifications, experiences and performance evaluation.
 
We are seeking a dynamic chaplain (Ministry and Maternal Wellness Coordinator) for Glory Reborn's Ministry and Maternal Wellness team to provide for the psychospiritual wellness of patients (pregnant and new mothers from various backgrounds), families, staff, and church partners; and provide specialized resources in the issues impacting their wellbeing. They will also offer experiential knowledge and assistance whenever needed within the organization.
 
Primary responsibilities include:
-To invest in the spiritual and mental health development of patients (pregnant and new mothers from various backgrounds), staff, volunteers, and church visitors through pastoral care, counseling, prayer, discipleship, organizing and coordinating spiritual retreats and worship, and other relational opportunities.
-Create intentional pathways for the organization to grow in psychospiritual health.
-Encourage patients (pregnant and new mothers from various backgrounds) and staff in finding Christ and growing in Him.
 
General responsibilities include:
-Champion the wellness team in creating community, discipling others, and the execution of events and support groups.
-Work collaboratively with the Wellness Consultant, Wellness Counselor, and Peace Corps Volunteer to create and implement spiritual and mental health development strategies for Glory Reborn patients (pregnant and new mothers from various backgrounds), volunteers and staff.
-Maintain discipleship as a continued top priority.
-Provide pastoral care including counseling and prayer for patients (pregnant and new mothers from various backgrounds), staff, volunteers.
-Connect patients to counseling and mental health resources as appropriate.
-Build and strengthen partnerships with church partners and mission visitors.
-Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
 
Education Requirement and Experience:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Divinity / Pastoral Ministry / Theology / Religious Education / Christian Ministry / Chaplain / DTS or equivalent; or extensive experience in ministry/ chaplaincy / pastoral care
Must have 5-10 years experience in Christian counseling/women's ministry/mission work or the like
Must be willing to minister to pregnant mothers from various backgrounds with compassionate care
