MIDWIFE, BSM
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Bachelor of Science in Midwifery Degree (BSM) from an accredited School of Midwifery 
Updated PRC license
Has a comprehensive understanding of maternal and newborn care
With “gentle birth” experience or advocacy is a plus
Has met and performed skills required for maternal and newborn midwifery care
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Understanding the ethics of confidentiality
Willing to work with marginalized clients
Understanding of charitable services and programs
Willing to continue education in the field of midwifery including but not limited to breastfeeding, family planning, and other DOH accredited training.
Has understanding of ministry and biblical principles and is willing to work in a Christian non-profit organization to invest in the individual lives of our clients.
