QUALIFICATIONS
Male or Female
Licensed chemist
BS Chemistry or BS Chemistry / Physics or any allied coursed graduate
With or without experience are welcome to apply
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and implements programs for the laboratory that consistently meet the quality, quantity, and timeliness requirements of customers.
Evaluates subordinates' performance attainment of objectives, targets, and programs.
Assists subordinates in implementing corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances affecting the laboratory's performance.
Prepares and facilitates monthly sampling schedule for outside clients, WBU plants monitoring, sales, and other sampling requests received.
Consolidate and make a report on the monthly laboratory accomplishments and summary of types of samples and analyses received. In addition, submit to accounting every fifth of the month.
Prepare and monitor the status of the calibration program of laboratory equipment and apparatus. Moreover, makes a necessary request for calibration as needed.
Maintain compliance w/ Environmental Laws, PNP and PDEA regulations, and other compliances
Facilitate everyday schedule of samplers
Facilitates the needed reports of the analysis to be submitted to the client and the needed billing
Maintains the necessary records of results and reports based on the record Retention Schedule to see to it that it is updated
Facilitates and maintain the annual DENR -EMB Laboratory Recognition surveillance / Renewal, DOH Laboratory Accreditation Surveillance / Renewal, and ISO QMS /EMS audit requirements
Facilitates the prepared analysis reports by an analyst for the laboratory head and general manager certification and signature
Monitors laboratory supplies and consumables and make request for purchase when consumed
Facilitate in the conduct of inventory of reagents and apparatus every end of the month
Review Laboratory procedure and protocols for needed updates
