Job Description
Function independently in performing the nursing process through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of safe therapeutic care for all patient's overt and covert needs and/or complications of treatment on his/her shift. The staff nurse
Executes, transcribes and notes physician's orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Demonstrates ability to administer medications safely to patients
Demonstrates and understands the principles of IV Therapy
Demonstrates and documents principles of restraint management.
Understands principles, demonstrates the ability to care for patients and is familiar with the location and operation of equipment used in that care.
Neurological system, Cardiovascular system, Respiratory system, Gastrointestinal/genitourinary systems, Musculoskeletal system
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Nursing or similar fields.
Completed BS Nursing, with a valid PRC license
Passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN)
Active state license as a registered nurse
Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification
