As a Healthcare Customer Support, you will assist patients with their inquiries, set up appointments, handle billing inquiries from patients and doctors, process payments, and perform various tasks.
 
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and in a Work-in-the-office setup.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their needs.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Gather information on customer concerns and provide resolutions.
Open and update customer accounts.
Escalate critical issues requiring immediate resolution.
Process orders and manage electronic faxes.
Call patients to inform them about upcoming procedures and preparations.
Handle calls with patients, insurance representatives, and relevant offices as needed.
Update the billing system with essential patient information.
Use billing software to manage accounts receivable and generate invoices.
Review and post payments from insurance companies and patients.
Correct billing errors, including codes and charges.
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims promptly.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.
Maintain accurate billing and payment records, ensuring confidentiality.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or billing manager.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 1 year of BPO experience in a healthcare insurance account.
Minimum of 1 year of Healthcare BPO Billing experience
With experience in processing Claims, Rejections, and Appeals
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS billing in the US healthcare system
Familiarity with healthcare insurance and billing tools like GVT and TRIZETTO.
Experience in radiology accounts or digital imaging centers is a plus.
Must be trained/certified in HIPAA.
