Position: Full-time, Strictly Onsite
Location: Cebu IT Park, Cebu City
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM daily
QUALIFICATION:
a. Non-negotiable skills
-Proven game copywriting work experience
-Ability to read Japanese characters (Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana), IF NOT, at least can speak or understand some basic Japanese language expressions
-Aesthetic storytelling expertness & good at exploring story elements within the game
-Proficiency in creative language expression and robust writing abilities
-Profound knowledge of Japanese games, anime, and light novels, with an accurate grasp of the setting and writing style of Japanese games and anime
b. Supporting skills
-Superb copywriting & planning skills
-Knowledge of aesthetic storytelling and good at exploring story elements within the game
-Good sense and knowledge of sharp market insight and marketing strategy
-Enthused for the gaming industry with a deep understanding of game culture
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for game copywriting planning, including game introductions, plot, dialogues, etc.
-Ensure consistency between game copy & game design, and provide effective copy strategies and solutions.
-Participate in game planning, and provide creative ideas & concepts for games including plot, character design, worldview, etc.,
-Develop suitable copy promotion plans for the game, including social media, forums, promotional materials, advertising, etc., following the game's distinct features
-Assist in game localization from JP to EN version ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of translation
