Position: Full-time Frontend Game Developer
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain browser-based games using HTML5, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
Optimize games for performance and scalability across different browsers and devices.
Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other team members to deliver a seamless gaming experience.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established coding standards.
Requirements:
Proficient in HTML5 and JavaScript.
Experience with game development frameworks/libraries such as Phaser, PIXI.js, or Three.js.
Familiarity with the Canvas API and WebGL for 2D/3D graphics rendering.
Good understanding of the WebAudio API for game audio integration.
Experience with real-time communication methods, such as WebSockets, for multiplayer games is a plus.
Strong knowledge of optimization techniques specific to browser-based games.
Familiarity with version control, preferably Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Qualifications:
Previous experience in developing and deploying browser-based games.
Experience in UI/UX design specific to games.
Knowledge of server-side integration with RESTful APIs or similar technologies.
Extra Awesome:
Business-level Japanese communication skills.
N1/N2 Level (we offer a good incentive)
Working experience as JP on-site engineer for more than a year.
