Is currently looking for:
 
FIBER OPTIC TECHNICIAN
 
The Fiber Optic Technician helps to make sure that responsible for work properly and that they meet the client’s needs. Providing  technical support to projects in the interest of ensuring safety and locating problems areas, and performing all other repairs as needed.
 
Responsibilities:
Perform trouble-shooting and maintenance of fiber optic
Perform cable installation and fusion splicing of optical fibers
Perform technical testing of fiber optic cables in the installation site
Responsible in determining acceptable losses of transmitted light signals across fusion and mechanical splices
Install and maintain wireless equipment
Install and maintain other network equipment 
Qualification:
 
• Completed Technical/Vocational Courses or its equivalent
 • Relevant and strong exposure to OSP/FTTB works at one (1) year.
• A basic knowledge in fiber optic theory is required.
• With civil works background and structural cabling is required.
• Ability to operate a computer and FOC test/splicing equipment.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet set-deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

Work schedule – Mondays to Saturdays 8:30am to 5:30pm shift
