Brief Description and Purpose of the Position
The Dispatch Coordinator executes transport plans, ensuring seamless coordination with service providers, and addresses issues impacting delivery performance. Reporting to the Transport Planner, this role involves daily end-to-end monitoring, communication with service providers, and proactive problem-solving to enhance overall dispatch efficiency.
Competencies:
• Execute transport plan by providing service providers for every trip requirement based on the transport plan.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to address possible delays in dispatching
• Investigate and coordinate with the Transport Planner on any misses in the dispatch plan.
• Create and provide daily updates on delivery status to customers specifically details on location, timeline, and specific movements
• Ensure implementation and execution of controls set based on standard procedures, including documentary, access, and system controls.
• Verify that all transactions dispatch is properly supported with documents.
• Prepare incident reports for deviations noted during deliveries.
• Ensure complete and timely updates of end-to-end transport monitoring and reports
• Update daily monitoring and reports to enhance overall dispatch operations.
