The Role
We are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to work directly under our lawyer, overseeing construction contracts from start to finish. This role involves handling contracts from the moment we receive them from the general contractor, through reviewing, negotiation, and final signing. Your responsibilities will be crucial in ensuring contracts align with our standards, timelines, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Review construction contracts received from general contractors.
Collaborate with our legal team to identify key points for negotiation.
Handle contract negotiations, ensuring all agreements are beneficial and in line with company interests.
Manage the signing process, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Maintain organised records of all contract documentation and communication.
Requirements:
Proven experience in contract administration, ideally within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of contract law and construction industry regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, with a meticulous approach to documentation.
Effective negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines.
