Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) Inc. is opening a job position for Construction Manager for our Fairfield project in Bohol and Ocean Front Residences project in Palawan.
 
As a Construction Manager, your tasks and responsibilities would entail:
1. Responsible for the execution of the contracts of various contractors and suppliers. Ensure that copy of contracts is in place at the project site office.
2. Oversee Contractors Quality Control and Safety Programme.
3. Secure shop drawings, material submittal, and request for information from contractors and suppliers for review by the consultants.
4. Take care of orders for long lead materials and equipment necessary for construction of the project.
5. To mark-up the drawings of the progress of their works (as-built drawings), and submitted by contractors, at least one (1) months in advance of completion, for submission to the Project Manager. Final O & M Manuals should be submitted at the
completion of the project.
6. Review defects list submitted and makes sure that the action plans in fixing/amending these defects are carried out successfully in a given timelines as it would not affect the turnover of the project.
7. Prepares Quality Control tools and programme and QCP 101 has been approved at the early start of the project.
8. Supervises testing and commissioning of all utilities.
9. Maintains a fully detailed Project Logbook
10. Keep accurate register of drawings for all Trades.
 
Job Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Civil Engineering, With PRC License
Minimum of 10 years experience as a Project Manager
Proficient in design softwares such as AUTOCAD / Sketch up or equivalent softwares
Proficient in planning softwares such as primavera / MS project
At least 5 years experience in high rise buildings
With knowledge in Planning is an advantage
