CIVIL WORKS / PLUMBING
Job Purpose and Scope
To perform preventive and corrective maintenance on civil and plumbing systems, ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of airport facilities. The Civil Works and Plumbing Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity and proper functioning of all plumbing systems at the airport.
Scope
The IFM Civil Works and Plumbing Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing civil infrastructure and plumbing systems, including concrete structures, drainage systems, and water supply lines. This role involves conducting regular inspections, performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Minor Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on civil structures, repainting, ceiling repair
Repair minor cracks, potholes, and surface damages to concrete
Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of civil infrastructure to identify potential issues.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of civil structures.
Plumbing Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all plumbing systems.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Perform corrective maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to resolve issues such as leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards while performing maintenance tasks.
Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
Daily Monitoring:
Monitor the performance of civil and plumbing systems daily to ensure optimal operation.
Record and analyze operating parameters to identify and address potential issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance performance and activities.
Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repair and maintenance tasks.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements or scope of works.
Experience (No. of Years):
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil works and plumbing maintenance or a related field.
Proven experience with concrete, masonry, and asphalt repair techniques.
Proven experience with plumbing techniques.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Others:
Willing to work on Shifting schedules, weekend and holidays
On Call during Emergencies
Willing to be assigned in Mactan, Cebu
Can start on or before March 25, 2025
