Job Description: Join our dynamic finance team as a Billing and Collections Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in managing the billing process, invoicing, and ensuring timely collections. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining healthy cash flow and minimizing bad debt risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate billing and resolve any discrepancies.
Implement and maintain effective billing procedures and policies.
Proactively follow up with customers on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve billing issues, and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and take appropriate actions to minimize overdue payments.
Provide regular updates on accounts receivable status to management and contribute to financial reporting.
Work closely with internal teams to streamline billing and collection processes and improve overall efficiency.
 
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Proven experience as a Billing and Collections Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of billing procedures, accounting principles, and collections processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proactive mindset with a commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
