ACCOUNTING MANAGER (CPA)
 
Job Summary
 
Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer/ President and oversees the overall Accounting operations from financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxation, inventory and payroll.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Management:
Attend the following:
Coordination meetings.
Alignment meetings.
Consultative meetings.
Departmental meetings.
Other tasks in relation to being a department head.
Accounting:
Preparation and submission of the following:
Encode JEV-Payroll to QB.
BIR Forms 1601C and filing them with BIR.
Monthly Alphalist on Compensation.
Monthly due for Withholding Tax on Compensation.
General Journal for payroll and other special major transactions.
Employee evaluations and appraisals.
Monthly one-on-one dialogue with direct reports.
1604CF.
Documents for the CEO's signature.
Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.
Review and approve the following:
Monthly payroll computation and summary.
Payroll in HR Web
Payroll disbursement to UBP account.
Last Pay Computations.
Monthly Profit or Loss.
Delinquent Accounts.
Sales Incentive.
Contribution remittance schedule for SSS/PHIC/HDMF.
Loan remittance schedule for SSS/HDMF.
Monitoring schedules: GC Monitoring, Loans, Deduction, Allowances, etc..
eHUB Payments.
0619E and 1601F review.
VAT Computation for 2550Q review.
Working Papers.
Trademark Updates and Renewal review.
Quickbooks Expenses for Profit or Loss - vs. EWT and VAT.
Income Tax Return review.
BIR 2316 for resigned employees.
2316 of each employee annually.
13th-month pay computation review.
Fund transfer for Disbursing Account.
Fund transfer for Government Remittances.
Complete set of Annual Financial Statements.
Checking of weekly payables
Checking of bank reconciliations
Annual Budget
Acts as a back-up when assigned persons are not available or capable.
Perform other relevant tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Specifications
 
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
Licensure and/or certification required:
A CPA license is an advantage.
No. of years of relevant work experience:
At least 3 years of meaningful work experience in a supervisory/managerial position.
Technical Competencies:
Analytical skills
Proficient in MS and Google Workspace applications.
With experience in Accounting System (Quickbooks)
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
